“BBC interview, and a quick visit”
Travelling Europe means a lot of PR work and interviews with the press. To date this is my 7th night of dinners, corperate functions and press related interviews. However I’m still looking forward to keeping the Poms happy.
Last night i had an interview with BBC in which we chatted about rugby related matters specifically relating to the Welsh team, and why the team looses in the last few minutes of a test match. As i said before , i don’t care about the Welsh problems as I’m only worried about the Wallabies and their efforts moving forward to the World Cup.
Between all my commitments i managed to to meet up with new Australian coach Michael Cheika in Cardiff. Being picked as coach and only having 2 days to pack before leaving on tour is a daunting enough task for any coach! Cheika took it in his stride and managed to get his first victory as coach for Austrailia against the Baabas. However a week is a long time in rugby and the nerves will be mounting for the his first official test match as coach against the Welsh dragons. It looks like the Wallabies are taking a new direction with Cheika at the helm and hopefully into a new era of attacking entertaining rugby! Time will only tell.
